There will no doubt be several in the store to choose from. Handle several until you find you are drawn to one, or one
'sticks' to your fingers. If the crystal makes you tingle, then it is the one for you. Remember that big or outwardly beautiful
is not necessarily the most powerful. Small, rough crystals can be extremely effective.
- Non-fragile (tumbled) crystals can be rubbes over with salt, then rinsed under running water.
- Fragile crystals can be left in sea salt overnight, then the salt needs to be gently brushed off.
- Certain crystals have the ability to cleanse other crystals. Place a clear quartz or carnelian in a bag of tumbled stones
and you will never need to cleanse them by any other method, although the clear quartz or carnelian will need cleansing themsealves
afterward.
- Citrine, Kyanite and Azeztulite are self-cleansing crystals.
Dedicate a crystal as soon as it has been cleansed. Hold the crystal in your hands. Picture light surrounding it (if
you fins this difficult, hold your hands in front of a light source). Say out loud,
"I dedicate this crystal to the highest good of all.
May it be used in light and love."
To charge your crystal, hold it. Consider the purpose for which you wish to use it. Be specific. If you want
to attract love describe exactly the kind of love youa re looking for. If you are seeking healing, say precisely for what
condition and what you want to happen. When you have formulated your charge, attune to the crystal. Ensure that this is exactly
the right crystal for the purpose. When you are totally in tune, say out loud,
"I program this crystal for (your purpose)."
You may need to repeat the programming each time you use it.
