Cast the circle. Have within your circle with you a black candle, and image of the person you intend to bind and some
white ribbon or thread. Light the black candle. Take the image and the ribbon, and wrap the ribbon around the image, chanting
the following as you do so:
"I bind you from doing harm [name of person],
Harm against other people,
and harm against yourself."
Then, burn the bound image in the flame and say:
"I burn this bound image in shining flame,
the binding never to come undone without my will,
and allow [name of person] to hurt or maim."
